Fight Result: Vic Darchinyan stopped Jorge Arce in Round Eleven

In a super flyweight mega fight, IBF, WBC and WBA unified champion Vic “the raging bull” Darchinyan (32-1-1, 26 KOs) scored a grueling eleventh round TKO over WBA interim champ Jorge “El Travieso” Arce (51-5-1, 39 KOs) on Saturday night at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Darchinyan dominated Arce beginning in the first round unleashing his big punches to Arce. Arce bloodied Darchinyan in round three. Round four was in good action, with Darchinyan rocking Arce in the last minute. Darchinyan continued dominating Arce on the latter rounds. Darchinyan shook Arce in round seven. Fight Result: Ruslan Chagaev won a six-round technical decision over Carl Davis Drumond

Ruslan “White Tyson” Chagaev (27-0-1, 20 KOs), in his return from a recess, defeated previously unbeaten Carl Davis Drumond (26-1, 20 KOs) with a six-round technical decision on Saturday night at the Stadhalle in Rostock, Germany. Chagaev, was cut over the left eye by an unintentional head butt in round three, which caused the champion who was coming from a “career recess” to bled. Read more

Kendall Holt retains title against Demetrius Hopkins! Yuri Foreman still undefeated!

WBO Junior Welterweight champion Kendall Holt (25-3, 13 KOs) retained his title with a split decision against previously unbeaten and late sub Demetrius Hopkins (28-1-1, 11 KOs) on Saturday night at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Holt was the better boxer throughout the twelve round bout and outworked Hopkins most of the way. Judges scored 116-112 117-111 for Holt and 115-113 for Hopkins. Holt was previously scheduled to battle Ricardo Torres for the championship bout until Torres pulled out and Hopkins, who was originally scheduled to fight in the undercard, became the substitute foe for Holt. Hopkins accepted the title fight just this Monday after Ricardo Torres backed out.

Wladimir Klitschko stops challenger HasimRahman in Round 7!

IBF/WBO/IBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (52-3, 46 KOs) stopped former world champion and Lennox Lewis conqueror Hasim Rahman (45-7, 36 KOs) in the seventh round on Saturday night at SAP Arena in Mannheim, Germany.

Klitschko was very confident from the start of the fight and manage to keep Rahman at a long distance then connecting his left and right jabs. The rock Rahman was not successful in reaching the taller Klitschko and was sluggish and slow. The boxer from Ukraine punished the rock to the rope in round three. Read more

Tomasz Adamek defeats Steve Cunningham via split decision and captures IBF cruiserweight title

In a battle of cruiserweight, former WBC light heavyweight champion Tomasz Adamek of Poland (35-1, 24 KOs) won by split decision against cruiserweight champion Steve Cunningham (21-1, 11 KOs), claiming the world title on Thursday night at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Adamek dropped Cunninghum three times in their 12 round championship clash. Adamek dropped Cunninghum at the bell to end the second round. Adamek dropped Cunninghum again in round four after the Champion Cunninghum has hurt Adamek during the round.
