Kendall Holt retains title against Demetrius Hopkins! Yuri Foreman still undefeated!
WBO Junior Welterweight champion Kendall Holt (25-3, 13 KOs) retained his title with a split decision against previously unbeaten and late sub Demetrius Hopkins (28-1-1, 11 KOs) on Saturday night at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Holt was the better boxer throughout the twelve round bout and outworked Hopkins most of the way. Judges scored 116-112 117-111 for Holt and 115-113 for Hopkins. Holt was previously scheduled to battle Ricardo Torres for the championship bout until Torres pulled out and Hopkins, who was originally scheduled to fight in the undercard, became the substitute foe for Holt. Hopkins accepted the title fight just this Monday after Ricardo Torres backed out.
In the main supporting bout, WBA #4/WBC #8 rated jr. middleweight Yuri Foreman (27-0, 8 KOs) Read more

That was unexpected because I am only expecting Pacquiao to be ranked still in the lightweight division ahead from Juan Manuel Marquez Read more
